BEDMINSTER and Southville have been transformed by street art for Upfest 2012.
Thousands have so far come to explore North Street and adjoining roads, and to admire the work of 260 experts with a spray can.
Still carrying on today, the result of the festival has been myriad themes and styles and an attack of colour in every nook and cranny.
Providing extra atmosphere across more than a dozen locations have been 40 DJs and bands.
To mark the jubilee, some of the artists have taken a cheeky approach on the royal theme, including one work involving an image of pop star Boy George, alongside the line "God save the Queen". Money is being raised for the National Association for Children of Alcholics (NACOA).
Youngster Aaron Butler was inspired by the art on display, particularly a Star Wars-themed mural.
The 11-year-old, of Britannia Road, Kingswood, has recently started doing classes with street artist FLX.
He said: "The festival has been really good. There's a big range of art to look at. I like art because I can be creative and do what I want."
